EastEnders confirms 'huge U-turn' in Stacey Slater exit story next week

Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) make a big decision about her future in tonight's EastEnders, as she told her daughter Lily that she'd booked them one way flights to Brazil.

Earlier in the week, Stacey told her daughter that her brother Sean had asked them to move over to Brazil to help him in his new restaurant. Stacey wasn't too sure at first, although Lily was all for living it up in South Africa.

However, things took a turn in tonight's episode, when Lily had a change of heart. Now, spoilers reveal Stacey also makes a U-turn on her life changing decision during her leaving drinks.

Lily was left buzzing during the start of tonight's episode, when Stacey revealed she'd decided it was best for them to go and live a new life. Of course, Lily has daughter Charli with Ricky Jr, as she headed off to tell him the news.

Ricky was left heartbroken, although he told Lily he understood and she needed to do what was best for her. However, Charli's grandad Jack was having none of it, demanding Lily and Charli stay in Walford.

Heading back home, Lily told Stacey: "I don’t think I can do this. Charli’s got her own life here, her dad, and I’ve got to put her first. Mum, you can go to Brazil, but me and Charli aren’t coming with you."

Spoilers for next week tease a super dramatic week in the Square, as Max Branning returns to Walford for the first time in four years. Of course, EastEnders wouldn't miss out on an opportunity to reunite him with former flame Stacey Slater.

Before all that, Stacey tries to persuade Lily to stay in Walford, but she's adamant she and Charli are staying in Walford. Jean was left heartbroken during tonight's episode when she found out Stacey and the kids were leaving, and next week, both she and Zoe attempt to dissuade Stacey on separate occasions, but Eve is fully supportive of the idea.

In a major U-turn, Stacey later reveals at her leaving drinks at The Albert that she's decided to stay in Walford, but Lily is concerned her mum has made the wrong choice.

Later on in the week, Stacey receives the "shock of her life" when Max arrives in Walford, and he later follows her back to Number 31, but what does he want?

And will Stacey go to Brazil?
