Kate Cassidy has praised AI for helping her remain close to her late partner Liam Payne. However, she also branded it a curse due to how realistic the images are.
Kate took to her Instagram Stories to share a number of snaps of her and the former One Direction star that had been created by artificial intelligence. In the uploads, the 31-year-old singer, who sadly plunged to his death 11 months ago, is seen with his arms wrapped around his partner.
The creation sees Liam beaming as he clutches to the 26-year-old, who is wearing a pink dress with floral patterns. In the second, Kate is staring at the camera while Liam gazes in her direction in a loving embrace.

And a third saw the pair nuzzling heads as Kate leaned in to her man. The images were extremely realistic and Kate thanked the creator before calling it a "curse".
She wrote: "Thanks for making these," with a teary emoji face. "AI is such a blessing and a curse."
The upload comes as Kate continues to emotionally open up on her life without Liam. The duo had been together in Argentina weeks before the singer's death last October. She returned home to the United States day before a tragic fall killed Liam in Buenos Aires.
Just days before her latest update, Kate took to her page to pour out her grief and heartache openly. On Tuesday she also made a plea to her followers almost a year on from losing her soulmate. Taking to her Stories, she shared her sweet memory box.
She showed off the letters from Liam she had kept, as well as polaroids of the pair and little knitted teddies. There were also a number of drawings doodled by the late star.

The video upload saw Kate putting her memories from their time together in a floral print box. ,She wrote over the video a quote, which read: "She probably just threw it away."
She captioned the upload: "Don’t forget to write your loved ones a letter today, tomorrow is not gaurenteed.[sic]".
Following the candid post, her followers were quick to share their appreciation on her post. One user responded: "This made me cry. He was so special. Liam’s love will always surround you in so many beautiful ways. He is always with you, Kate."
In an update last month, Kate also candidly admitted to still wearing Liam's clothes to bed. In a bid to help others deal with grief, she shared an insight into her life as she revealed she is often asked on the social media platform about Liam's death. Fans also regularly ask her how she copes with his loss.
She took to the platform in response as she tried to try to answer the frequent questions, explained how grief feels like "a world that you wake up in and it doesn't make any sense anymore, especially when you lose somebody so suddenly and unexpectedly you almost have such a hard time forgiving the world for ripping that person away from you."
