It is a very thrilling time to be a Coronation Street fan right now, with the soap gearing up for its 65th anniversary celebrations and a one-off crossover episode with sister soap Emmerdale. However, if you've been following Todd Grimshaw's romance with Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), fans will know well that the couple's relationship has been anything but plain sailing. Todd has faced several setbacks as he attempts to help Theo come to terms with his sexuality, but things won't be getting better anytime soon. This week, Todd (Gareth Pierce) is surprised when Theo agrees to a night out in the gay village with Sean, James, Mary, Glenda, and Christina.
In the club, they're all having a good time until a man recognises Theo, with a look of shock on his face. Theo stares at him until Owen turns away and hurries out. Urged on by Theo, Todd joins his friends on the dance floor. As Theo heads to the toilets, Owen approaches, determined to have it out with him. Theo manhandles Owen out onto the street and orders him to back off. Who is he?

Later, a worried Todd confides in Shona (Julia Goulding) and Gary (Mikey North) that he had a row with Theo last night. Theo stormed out and hasn't seen him since.
When Jake then calls in the Kabin and hands Brian (Peter Gunn) a mobile phone, Todd's further shaken when Brian reveals it's Theo's phone. What has earth has happened to Theo?
Elsewhere on the Cobbles, Abi Webster's (Sally Carman) life could be changed forever as a huge threat is made against her.
Abi and and Carl's (Jonathan Howard) affair could potentially be revealed to Kevin (Michael Le Vell) next week by Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) unless she packs up her bags and leaves.
The pair have been secretly sneaking about behind his brother and her husband's back for the last few weeks, staying at hotels to keep their romance under wraps.
But this week, Abi has been caught by Debbie, who is quick to demand answers. Abi says she stayed at the hotel a while back and forgot to return the room card.
However, when Debbie says that she has no recollection of her booking, Carl steps in and blames Debbie's dementia for her poor memory - leaving her embarrassed.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
