Meghan Markle could return to podcasting as a result of her latest award win, an expert has said. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, is likely to be in a good mood today following the news that her podcast Confessions of A Female Founder, produced by Lemonada Media, won gold in the 'Business People & Entrepreneurs Shaping Culture' category of The Signal Awards.
The podcast was also voted 'Listener's Choice' in this category. This is believed to be great news for the Duchess, even though her podcast - which launched earlier this year - has not been renewed for a second season so far.
While Meghan has previously said this is because her focus at the moment is on her As Ever brand, one brand and culture expert believes that she could return to podcasting as a "natural extension" of her business.
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede also believes that such an award will "elevate" Meghan's brand.
He exclusively told Express.co.uk: "Meghan has shown that her podcasts do resonate and are award winning which is great for her and her brand.
"I think we will see her going back to podcasting in a few years. Her number one priority is the As Ever brand - she may decide to build a podcast around that as a natural extension of the business in the future."
Mr Ede continued: "Having awards for your work is great optically, it elevates your brand and shows that people have considered it and a group of experts or the general public have taken the time to vote for your work which means a lot."

Meghan has not yet addressed her podcast win.
Instead, the Duchess took to Instagram yesterday with a new video reel of her time in Washington DC.
This comes after Meghan visited the American capital to attend the Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington.
Meghan was one of the women interviewed at the summit and spoke about all things to do with her As Ever brand.
